[Syty] Hood latch

Try re-aligning your hood.  Loosen the bolts that hold the hinges to the
hood.  Sometimes you can tell which way to adjust it by looking at the wear
pattern on the latch.

My inside hood release has been getting very hard to operate.  I have to be
sitting in the seat for leverage, and it takes two hands to pull.  The
problem does not seem to be a binding cable, but something in the latch
itself. 
 
When it finally releases, it makes a very loud pop, as if it had been under
lots of pressure.
 
Is there something to adjust, or to lubricate?
